the only song i don’t think ended up in the film was the cardi b one unless i didn’t notice it? i think it was in the sundance cut of the film tho but i could be wrong.
ngl, bex is easily one of my favorite characters of the year. like. that girl, five for her glen coco.
shoutout to odessa young too though, like she was giving me major margot robbie vibes towards the end of the film, just the ending monologue. but also if you don’t lily’s ending monologue on 3000+ gifsets then we have failed
i was laying in bed last night thinking about assassination nation and it fully hit me that bex is actually a canonical trans character, and her experiences are actually, canonically explored in the story…… that’s such a surreal feeling, especially for those of us who spend so much time and energy bending pieces of media to more directly represent us
